It lists two part numbers that it replaces, one was probably the thick one, and the other the thin one. In the early 70's only the thick one was available as a replacement. WebSep 24, 2014 · The dam is about 3/8" tall 1/8-3/16" wide at the base tapers to a point about same taper as a pencil, it appears to be latex covered foam like door seals etc. The double sided fabric tape, besides securing the dam acts like the string in the trunk seals (prevents you from stretching it out of shape.)
