WebDec 14, 2014 · I would've just measured clearance under the diff, but I was comparing between rigs that had different tires. 2.5" tubes on the 44, 3.25" tubes on the 8.8. So the 8.8 tubes are 3/8" lower. 1/4" + 3/8" = 5/8" clearance difference between the lowest point on the 8.8 compared to the lowest point on the 44. I think that math is correct. motw use magic
