Webb31 maj 2024 · It's still alive, in some sense, but the GPU accelerated portion is not widely supported. On the CPU side, many popular engines do use PhysX (both Unity and Unreal do). The basic issue is not the cost. It's free for PC, but I believe there is an extra fee for consoles (not sure if this changed). Webb2 okt. 2024 · Then uninstall your current gpu driver. Light physics work the CPU would do fine, but under a geavy physics (Or specifically Physx) the GPU is massively parallel which means significant improvement for this type of work (The same reason a decent GPU also smokes a top of the line CPU in things like @Home).
