WebbGetting to Sacha Lodge: The journey to Sacha begins in Quito, Ecuador’s capital city. From here, embark on a 30-minute flight over the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Andes Mountains and then down 8,500 ft (2,600 meters) into the Amazon Basin. Arrive at Puerto Francisco de Orellana, locally know as Coca. Webb7 sep. 2024 · Sacha Lodge staff met us at the Quito Airport and at the Cacao Airport, taking care of all travel details. A 2h speedboat ride down the Napo River followed by a 30 min introductory walk though the jungle, then 20 min canoe ride took us to the Sacha Lodge nestled on the edge of the jungle by a small lake. Crazy beautiful setting.
