WebThis might work OK for target loads for .45 ACP and I have used it in the past for .38 Special loads hitting IDPA's 125,000 power floor. Using the 158 gr Cast Lead bullet and 3.5 grs or 3.6 grs and a light over-powder cardboard wad the rate was 80% and 100% respectively. But it ain't gonna make for the 165,000 power floor for .45 ACP. WebJul 24, 2014 · Bullseye is supposed to be very accurate in the 45 Auto and .38 Special. TG always seems to be associated with kbooms although in the 40 S&W, not the 45 Auto. If I had to choose between the two it would for sure be Bullseye. IMO W231/HP-38 seems to be made for the .38 Special and 45 Auto and that's what I mostly use.
