They replaced the clips in the tailgate with a newer design. Supposed to keep the rod from popping out, and it is much easier to work the handle. YEP, Normally ballet parking people try to be quick and friendly and there is a glitch. If you press the small square button first and open the tailgate window then the rear door will not open.
WebMay 25, 2024 · If the tailgate won't open then the latches are most likely stuck. That is the most common problem. You will have to make sure the linkage from the handle to the latches are working properly. If they are then you will have to replace the latches. If not then you'll have to replace/repair the linkage. My goal is to earn a 5 star rating experience.
